Weblanda

Online stores for Nigerian small businesses, run entirely from a phone.

A multi-tenant SaaS e-commerce platform that gives Nigerian small businesses their own online store, with real checkout, delivery and a seller dashboard, all manageable from a phone. Every store runs on its own subdomain.

  • Sellers are paid directly into their own Paystack subaccounts. Money never passes through Weblanda.
  • Weblanda takes no cut of sales.

A creator describes a client's project in a sentence. The AI asks a few clarifying questions, then builds a complete onboarding form with a share link. The client fills it in on their phone, and every response lands in the creator's dashboard.

BioStreamer

My own peer-reviewed anaerobic digestion research, turned into a hybrid data platform.

BioStreamer models daily bioreactor telemetry (pH, volatile fatty acids, alkalinity and biogas yield) for 100 simulated reactor lines, grounded in the co-digestion study I co-authored. Structured data and research literature flow through separate pipelines and meet in one API.

  1. 01Structured track: telemetry lands as Parquet in MinIO, then loads into PostgreSQL.
  2. 02Unstructured track: research literature is chunked, embedded and searchable through a RAG layer on Qdrant.
  3. 03Airflow DAGs orchestrate both tracks, with validation gates that fail closed unless reference reactors reproduce the study's published yields.
  4. 04A FastAPI hybrid endpoint combines SQL aggregates with vector search, explored in a Streamlit dashboard, and degrades gracefully when no language model key is set.

    A real-time bioreactor telemetry pipeline.

    Streams flow rate, temperature and pH readings from a Python simulator through Kafka into PostgreSQL with timestamp indexing, served by FastAPI to a React dashboard that polls every 1.5 seconds.

    • Built the full platform solo on Next.js, Supabase (PostgreSQL) and Vercel, with each seller's store running on its own subdomain.
    • Integrated Paystack subaccounts so sellers are paid directly into their own accounts, with no platform cut on sales.
    • Onboarded the first sellers across fashion, handmade accessories, furniture and gadgets, and set up their storefronts.
    • Registered the company, Weblanda Technologies Ltd, and handled brand, content and distribution end to end.

Jonas Chukwuemeka, full-length portrait

I build software that helps businesses work better. I'm the founder of Weblanda, an e-commerce platform for Nigerian small businesses, and I also build custom web apps for businesses that need something made from scratch.

My background is in biology. I hold a degree from FUTO Owerri and I'm a co-author on a peer-reviewed research publication. That training shapes how I build: clean data, careful testing, and understanding how things actually work before I call them done.

I'm growing my skills in data engineering, with a strong interest in biological and health data. I use AI tools to build faster, and I make sure I understand every part of what I ship.
